Born in Kolkata, India, Jai Chakrabarti lives in New York with his family. His short nonfiction stories have been published in multiple journals, like The Wall Street Journal and Writer’s Digest, and his short fiction stories have been posted in many places as well, like Ploughshares and Best American Short Stories. He has won the O. Henry award and the Pushcart Prize multiple times for his work.
