Book Description
This book contains two type of resources to supplement the open textbook entitled Calculus Volume 1 from OpenStax.
- H5P activities: The activities are in presentation mode and contain a selection of checkpoint exercises from Chapters 2 through 6 of Calculus Volume 1.
- PowerPoint slides:
- Calculus Volume 1: The slides for Chapter 1 list the main concepts and are intended as a review. The slides for Chapters 2 through 5 and parts of Chapter 6 contain the main concepts and the examples.
- Contemporary Mathematics: The slides correspond to sections 3.10-3.11, 4.3, 5.1-5.2, 5.5, 6.1-6.12, 7.1-7.5, 8.1-8.8, 9.1-9.5 in the textbook, and there are also slides for Inductive and Deductive Reasoning.
- Algebra and Trigonometry, 2e: The slides are for the Algebra portion and correspond to sections 2.1-2.7, 3.1-3.7, 4.1-4.3, 5.1-5.8. Trigonometry slides will be added in the future.
